I specialize in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as autism and ADHD, helping them overcome challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. I offer neurodivergent-affirming, evidence-based services to help individuals strengthen neural connections, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and gain confidence in their ability to function independently.
I do not believe in "fixing" people - I believe all of my clients are capable of fostering growth and well-being within their own unique context. I hold space where individuals can feel comfortable, ask questions, and speak passionately about their interests without feeling shame about how their brain and body work. At the same time, my work as a coach and consultant will help you navigate the challenges that come with being different.
Regarding my professional background, I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have contributed to various research projects focused on executive functioning and cognitive rehabilitation. I have three years of experience administering neuropsychological assessments, specializing in neurodevelopmental disabilities such as autism, ADHD and learning disabilities. Additionally, I provided executive functioning coaching for students with autism through Empower Psychological Services in Portland, Oregon. These clinical experiences have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of, and compassion for, students with executive functioning challenges. My passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals continues to drive my professional growth. Outside of NeuroInsights LLC, I work as the Clinical Coordinator and Psychometrist for Tucson Neuropsychology Associates in Tucson, AZ.
Executive functions (EF) are the mental skills that allow us to organize, make plans, solve problems and adapt to new situations. EFs include working memory, cognitive flexibility, attention, processing speed, initiation and inhibition. These brain functions are fundamental to academic success, work performance, and everyday life.
My executive function coaching services are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. Goals often include keeping track of coursework, planning ahead, diving large projects into smaller steps, and motivating to complete those steps. Coaching may also include support for maintaining a consistent schedule, staying organized, arriving on time with everything you need, and advocating for reasonable accommodations.
Neurodiversity embraces natural variations in brain functioning and diversity. In other words, there is no “right” way to be.
Neurodiversity-affirming support is non-pathologizing, strengths-based, and highly individualized. It emphasizes self-acceptance and understanding, which in turn reduces anxiety, depression and burnout.
My clinical rate is $75/hour (or $55 per 45-minute session). Sliding scale services available on an as-needed basis
